The TCSC Foundations Program is an introductory soccer experience designed specifically for players in Pre-Kindergarten through 3rd grade. Built from the ground up for first-time players and early beginners, this program gives young athletes their first meaningful connection to the beautiful game in an environment that is safe, structured, and genuinely fun.

At this age, every child is a blank canvas. The Foundations Soccer Program meets them exactly where they are: curious, energetic, and ready to play, giving them the foundational skills, confidence, and love of the game that will serve them for a lifetime, regardless of where their soccer journey takes them.

The Foundations Soccer Program introduces the core building blocks of soccer through guided play, small-sided games, and age-appropriate skill work. Players will develop:

Technical Skills Ball work and first touch, dribbling, basic passing and receiving, introductory shooting technique, and spatial awareness on the field.

Cognitive Foundations Understanding the basic rules of the game, learning positional awareness, developing decision-making in simple game situations, and beginning to read the play around them.

Athletic Development Coordination, balance, agility, and general movement literacy. all developed through soccer-specific activity that keeps players active and engaged throughout every session.

Character & Confidence Listening skills, coachability, teamwork, resilience after mistakes, and the fundamental belief that they belong on a soccer field. These are the qualities that stay with a player long after the final whistle.
